Persepolis, The death of a childhood

From reading the book Persepolis, it is very interesting in how her enjoyment of her childhood dies out.   As far as I have read, the book has been very easy to read by all the visuals. What makes this book very interesting and unique is that the essential symbols are revealed in the visuals itself. As I read more of this novel, the more I begin to understand what really is happening in her life.

Why is childhood an important time of life? When does it end?

Childhood plays a great role in a persons life. It is important because "they gradually learn new knowledge by an unawareness way. The lessons at the moment play significant role to form world outlook of human beings many year later". The child enters a stage where the child starts to learn and interact with others throughout life. Some people say that the childhood ends at the age of eighteen. “They go to school until they’re eighteen, so they’re children until they’re eighteen.

In this young girl's perspective of view, Her childhood began to die out when she was isolated from her  closest friends because of the law the leader established. As she lost her friends the only friend that was with her was God. She would start conversations with God and rely as God being her only close friend.
The later this began to progress was when she started to talk about the reality and what is actually happening in this world. Once you realize that is happening, you know her childhood is coming to an end.

How do people cope when forces they can't control change their lives?

From all the traumatizing experiences she dealt with, it really brings up the topic that she does not have a normal childhood. She begins to follow what the society does and starts to create protests, and violence in her life. She wants to create a revolution at such a young age! She is strongly effected from the society and wants to engage in actions that could be very dangerous and could risk her life. It comes  to a traumatic fall in her childhood and she could never experience the beauty and meaning of childhood ever again.

http://www.insidehoops.com/blog/

The blog I chose was a blog about NBA basketball. This blog really caught my attention by its strong title and how well designed everything was. It was a good blog because it had many pictures to make the reader really interested in what was happening in that game. It gave out great factual evidence and the titles for each date were very strong. Not only that it has great design and a great look to the page, It is also a great attention-getter by the fact of how many pictures it has and a great way to visualize what was going on. What I personally found very interesting is that it gives out a brief statement of what this blog is about. Its very great in the fact that it has the recent updates on what teams are going against each other. But there were some things that I opposed of this blog is that the voice of the blogger doesn't seem like himself as he talks. Its not really his opinion on what he thinks about what should happen and how he feels about the topic. Even though it is more of a factual blog but overall, it was really well developed and its a great blog to share for the people that really want to be in touch of any of the NBA games.
